Chief Design Engineer
40 years leadership experience in the design and development of microturbine technology including combustion physics, flow physics, rotation dynamics, fabrication and engine serviceability, reliability, fuel systems, control systems, materials engineering and rapid prototyping. As founder of Advance Turbine Design in 1986, Mr. Seymour has been the Principal Investigator for multiple NASA SBIR contracts, managed the development of over 10 microturbine engine models including commercial engines for Toyota, landfill methane power generation systems and numerous thrust engines as well as a consultant for the US DOD and Hamilton Sundstrand. A patent holder in key microturbine technology, Mr. Seymour is also a highly regarded author with multiple publications on microturbine technology.
